Biography
Dr Ira Robinson is a highly experienced Consultant in Family Medicine with over 2 decades of clinical practice. She qualified in medicine from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, University of London, and completed her GP training in 1997.
Dr Ira began her career as a GP Partner at Brocklebank Group Practice in London, where she developed particular expertise in intrauterine device insertion and minor surgery. She then relocated to Scotland, joining the Levern Medical Group in Barrhead as a GP Partner — a position she held from 2007 until early 2025 before moving to Dubai. Throughout her career, she has worked in busy suburban and inner-city practices, caring for diverse populations including areas of high deprivation and complex social need.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Ira has extensive experience as an Educational Supervisor for doctors in postgraduate GP training and internship programmes. She has also served as practice lead for finance, human resources, complaints, and performance management.
